For those who haven’t seen it yet, their twice-monthly videocast at gives the Altons, aka Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy, a great forum for discussing survival medical issues, demonstrating medical supplies, and answering questions live from listeners. If you join the chat room you’ll be eligible for some prizes we give out at the end of every show, but you can just listen in if you prefer. It’s great fun, as things don’t always go as planned (e.g., the Great Acrylic Paint Incident of 2015)! Occasionally, we’re joined by our African Gray parrot, T. D. Bird (T. D. stands for That, um, Darn… bird), America’s favorite squawkbox!
