For years when I was a long haul trucker, I was a prepper before The word had been coined. In the summer, I carried extra water in the truck for the radiator or if need be,survival in the desert or sharing with stranded motorists. In the winter,I stocked up on canned goods,extra blankets,lots of warm winter clothing. Many times I have been stuck on interstates that stopped moving because of a weather event. Sometimes just for a few hours,sometimes a few days.
During those times,I always shared what I had with other stranded…
