This has to be the easiest meal in a jar you can possible prepare. It calls for 5 basic ingredients and only 4 cups of boiling water to make. If you are going to make a few of these up to store in your food storage then use pint size jars with O2 absorbers or vacuum seal your jar to remove all air. ( You will need this attachment to vacuum seal a jar.) This recipe is so easy to make that even the kids can do it. (Video below)
Makes four 1 cup servings or two 2 cup servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Tomato Powder
- 1/2 cup Powdered Milk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar

- Mix all ingredients in a bowl very well
- Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil
- Add all ingredients
- Stir and turn down heat to a simmer
- Simmer 8-10 minutes or until it is the consistency you like
Serve alone or with grilled cheese! I like to top ours with cheese just before serving.
