Taken from The Prepared Prepper’s Cookbook…
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of dried black beans
- 1 large can of diced tomatoes
- 2 Tbs. of chili powder
- 1 can of corn
- 1/4 cup of dehydrated bell pepper
- 1/4 cup dehydrated onion
- Salt and garlic powder to taste
- 6 cups of water
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except corn into a large pot. Bring to a boil and then simmer, with a lid on, for about 4-6 hours. Add corn during the last hour so it stays firm. We eat this with corn bread or corn tortillas.
