Re survival straws, we typically seal the end with a hot glue gun. Other methods don’t seem to work as well. Seal one end with glue, then stand it on a cookie sheet or other smooth hard surface to dry. Cut it to the desired length, add your prep, and then seal end with glue again. We write on them with permanent marker as to contents.
We make little med kits with Betadone solution, scrub, alcohol, pills, etc. Very handy, lightweight and you don’t waste anything.
